This
cookbook was born out of a love of serving good
food and my desire to preserve family recipes for future generations. Each recipe has been tested in my kitchen, focusing on simple, organic, home-grown ingredients that bring warmth and joy to the table. The book is divided into eight sections, including appetizers, breads, soups, main dishes, vegetables, desserts, and more, with each recipe featuring serving details and preparation times—some with pictures. My hope is to inspire you to embrace the joy of cooking and create lasting memories around the table with your loved ones.

My Journey
Hello friends! Thank you for visiting my corner of the web! To introduce myself, since childhood I’ve been a devoted reader, growing up on the shores of Prince Edward Island, with Lucy Maud Montgomery as my hero. Vivid descriptions of beautiful scenery and telling stories have always been a passion of mine. While my children were young, I began capturing their experiences through scrapbooking and stamping, which evolved into blogging when we moved to North Idaho. As an avid photographer, I bought my first professional camera in 2015 and have been capturing pictures ever since, with many appearing in local magazines and newspapers. My first book was published in 2020, “Through Love’s Eyes”, then my cookbook "MountainTopSpice Family Cookbook" was released in April 2024, and I was part of an anthology book project "Untold", published in October 2024. (All my books are available for purchase here on this website). Now I am writing my first fiction Christian romance, and hope to have it published later this year. It is my joy to share God’s beautiful creation through the lens of my camera and pen with you, and I hope you’ll visit my website to see all it has to offer!
