Finding Peace in Nature's Majesty
I’m blessed to live in a place where winding roads lead you higher and higher into the mountains—until you reach a vantage point where the horizon stretches for miles in every direction.
From that lofty perch, the view is breathtaking. Steepled pine trees stand guard, while logging roads curve like ribbons through open fields. Distant lakes shimmer in the sun, and wildflowers splash the hillsides with color. The skies are so bright and blue they seem to go on forever. You pause, take a slow, deep breath, and feel the beauty reach all the way down into your soul.
When I stand on a mountaintop like this, I am always reminded of the words from Psalm 121:
“I lift up my eyes unto the hills—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
The same God who created this breathtaking world knows my name and even my thoughts. In moments like these, surrounded by His handiwork, I’m reminded that He alone is God—and He is more than able to take care of me.
Beauty is Everywhere
Perhaps you don’t have mountain views where you live, but beauty is never far away. It might be in the delicate petals of a flower, the playful antics of your pet, or the shining eyes of a small child. In those moments, you can sense the same truth: the God who crafted every intricate, living thing also holds you in His care.
The Comfort of Nature
Nature has a way of comforting us. When we step outside, we can feel the gentle breeze on our skin, hear the rustle of leaves, and see the vibrant colors of the world around us. Each element is a reminder of His love and creativity.

Trusting in His Plan
Trust Him today with every care and every need. For He is the One who created all this—and you—who is with you always. When life feels overwhelming, remember to look around. Nature can be a source of strength and inspiration.
